The Walk-In Scheduler allows modification of a student's schedule, whether a student needs to drop and add a course, or a new student enrolls in the school at any time during the year. Back to the Basics: Ed-Fi Config & Tools
How in the world does Infinite Campus automagically talk to DPI? This session will allow users to get a ground zero level on how Infinite Campus connects with the DPI. We get it - sometimes you walk into (or are pushed?) State Reporting and don't have those basic nuts and bolts in terms of the connection.

Next, we will cover the Ed-Fi tools. The Ed-Fi tools allow users to manually resync specific data, view any syncing errors which have occurred, view queued Ed-Fi data sync events, and manually force processing of Ed-Fi data sync events. This session will focus on the new deposit reporter tool.

Use the Deposit Reporter to check the status of deposits made into your district's or school’s bank accounts. This tool can also be used to calculate the total deposits for each bank for a specific date range.
After payments are processed and settled by the payment platform, the money is disbursed to your district's or school's bank accounts. These disbursements appear as deposits in the Deposit Reporter tool. The deposit amount for a date and bank account should match the amount deposited into your bank account. After payments are settled or after returns and transactions fees are processed by the payment platform, the money is disbursed to your bank account. You may see withdrawals (negative deposit amounts) from bank accounts to cover refunds and fees.

Responsive Scheduling
Responsive scheduling. Flexible Scheduling. Intervention. Enrichment.  What I need. These are all terms that can be accomplished using Infinite Campus's core tools of Responsive Scheduling.

The Responsive Scheduling tools allow schools to establish a special period of the day as focused instruction on a particular topic, referred to as an Offering. These offerings should be considered as additional instruction time. A teacher can offer a session for those students in an English class the chance to make up a missed test, while other students in that English class would be scheduled into a different offering of their choosing or their teacher's choosing.

How do you get in there to hear what your students are thinking and feeling?: Thriving Index Survey (Core SEL survey)
Infinite Campus has partnered with Character Lab (characterlab.org) to make available the Thriving Index Survey. The Thriving Index asks students about their interests, habits, feelings, and beliefs. It consists of four categories: social thriving, emotional thriving, academic thriving, and physical thriving. The Thriving Index is a tool for the formative assessment of student social, emotional, academic, and physical well-being. Character Lab founder and CEO Angela Duckworth developed this tool to encourage student participation and create content aligned with their needs.

Repeated participation allows schools and organizations to monitor student well-being topics such as sleep habits, social media use, and sense of belonging. Thriving Index results are shared through live, customized, easily accessible dashboards. School staff, district leaders, or organizational leaders can act on Thriving Index results by identifying areas for improvement and sharing relevant resources to support their students.
